This is more of a reference to bike-nerds like me.

I found this article this morning in the ajc.com which in light of our code violation for our lawn makes more sense and easier upkeep of our ‘wildflower’ lawn. I can sum up the article in just a few words ‘learn to tolerate some weeds’ and that is straight from this article.

Jane Witmer pulls weeds from her lawn with a hand tool in Seattle. Increasing numbers of homeowners like Witmer are eschewing lawn chemicals, citing concerns about the environment and their health.
That’s the way Jane Witmer describes the lawn around her Seattle house. But if you look closely, there’s some moss and some clover. “Wildflowers are beginning to bloom pink in the grass,” she said.
The small imperfections are the price she pays for keeping her lawn organic.
“It’s better for my health, and the health of my pets and my family,” Witmer said. “It’s better for the health of the bugs and the birds in the yard.”
We got a code violation from the city. It reads “Please cut tall grass”. But we don’t have any grass. Our yard is all weeds. Ha ha!
